jerky at better than jam handmade co-op

the initial tasting at the new bushwick indie boutique better than jam handmade co-op, went better than i could have imagined (given the fact that i was pushing a dried meat product in a clothing/jewelry store). those who were brave enough to sample the inaugural offerings were pleasantly surprised and provided incredible feedback for the next round of samples. they were also treated to as much jerky as they could carry home (though many limited themselves to only a cup full). following the tasting, i have already been approached by a local deli interested in carrying my product. there's a lot i need to accomplish before that happens, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. and i couldn't be more excited about the future of new jerk city. tonight they will be hosting another opening of sorts - their first friday event with sales from local designers, snacks and wine! from 7-10pm
join my mailing list to stay tuned of more local events i will be at throughout brooklyn and nyc
