the sleeper has awakened!

like the great grizzly bear of the north, so too has new jerk city arisen from a long winter nap. like the mythological phoenix, so too has new jerk city been born anew.

this spring, witness the awakening, the rebirth, the renaissance of beef jerky in new york. no longer must you wring your hands and gnash your teeth at yet another meatless season. no longer must you wander the aisles of your local market searching in vain for something that does not exist. no longer must you force down the stale offerings at your local watering hole. there's a new jerk(y) in town and its name is new jerk city.

reimagined and reinvented, i bring you *new*
new jerk city—the only jerky tailored with new york city in mind. with locally-sourced ingredients and flavors inspired by the very neighborhoods you live and work in, new jerk city invites you to taste new york city for the very first time.

first out of the gates: the brooklyn flavor. tangy, spicy, and subtly sweet, with an hint of brooklyn's own brooklyn brewery brown ale. a classic flavor, sure to win over your hearts and taste buds.

in the coming weeks and months, new flavors will be released, one for each borough. sign up to our mailing list for information on where you can find new jerk city in your neighborhood. in the meantime, find us at: newjerkcity.etsy.com
